Clock-In Records
Home > Management Mode > Clock-In Records
Administrators can select "Clock-In Records" from the Management Mode home page. From this page, they can view, add, or delete users' (employees') clock-in records; review exceptions, clock-in corrections, and modified records; configure clock-in points; and export clock-in and overtime records.
Feature Overview
Administrators can perform the following actions:
- View Clock-In Records: Review all users' (employees') normal, abnormal, and modified clock-in records.
- Add or Delete Clock-In Records: Add missing records manually or delete incorrect records.
- Handle Abnormal Records: Review clock-in correction requests and mark or correct abnormal clock-in events as needed.
- Set Clock-In Points: Set or update the clock-in locations available to users (employees).
- Export Records: Export clock-in and overtime data for further analysis or payroll processing.
Sources of Clock-In Records
There are three ways a clock-in record can be added:
- User (Employee) Clock-In: A record created when a user clocks in through the system.
- Clock-In Correction Request: A record created after a user's correction request is approved by a reviewer.
- Manual Addition by an Administrator: A record added to fill in missing data or correct an error.
Administrators can use the record source to identify how each entry was created and keep attendance data complete and accurate.
Deleting Clock-In Records
The records a person can delete depend on their role and management permissions:
| Role | Records That Can Be Deleted |
|---|---|
| User | Their own clock-in records |
| Administrator with group management permission | Clock-in records of users in their group |
| Creator and highest-level administrator | Clock-in records of all users in the organization |
Clock-In Correction Records
Home > Management Mode > Clock-In Records > Clock-In Correction Records
Administrators can select "Clock-In Records" from the Management Mode home page, then select "Clock-In Correction Records" to view approved correction records.
Important Note About Deletion
If an administrator or user (employee) deletes a correction request before the reviewer processes it, the review notification may point to a record that no longer exists, preventing the reviewer from opening or processing the request.
Modified Records
Home > Management Mode > Clock-In Records > Modified Records
Administrators can select "Clock-In Records" from the Management Mode home page, then select "Modified Records." This page lists clock-in records that were previously added or deleted, allowing administrators to track changes.
