Upgrading a plan refers to changing the current subscription to a higher-level plan.

Examples:

  3. Upgrading from a shorter billing cycle (e.g., monthly plan) to a longer billing cycle (e.g., annual plan).

Effective Date

Upgrading to a higher-level plan takes effect immediately.

Fee Calculation

  • The cost for the remaining days of the new plan will be charged.
  • The billing cycle remains unchanged.

Example

  • Suppose you subscribed to the Ad-Free Individual Monthly Plan (NT$30) on July 1 and upgraded to the Ad-Free Organization Monthly Plan (NT$300) on July 15. You will need to pay for 15 days of the Organization Monthly Plan, calculated as NT$300 / 30 days × 15 days = NT$150.
  • The billing cycle remains unchanged, and the next billing date is August 1.

Downgrade Plans

Downgrading a plan refers to changing the current subscription to a lower-level plan.

Examples:

  1. Downgrading from an Organization Plan to an Individual Plan.
  2. Reducing storage space in an Organization Plan.
  3. Downgrading from a longer billing cycle (e.g., annual plan) to a shorter billing cycle (e.g., monthly plan).

Effective Date

Downgrading to a lower-level plan will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Switching Between Plans of the Same Tier

Switching between plans of the same tier refers to changing the billing cycle within the same subscription level, such as switching from an Organization Annual Plan to an Organization Monthly Plan or from an Individual Monthly Plan to an Individual Annual Plan.

Using the example of switching from an Organization Annual Plan to an Organization Monthly Plan:

Effective Date

The new plan will take effect after the current billing cycle ends.

  • Suppose you subscribed to the Ad-Free Organization Annual Plan on July 1 and applied to switch to the Ad-Free Organization Monthly Plan on July 15.
  • Your Organization Annual Plan will continue until July 1 of the following year.
