Subscription Plans

SwipePoint's subscription plans are divided into two methods: in-app subscriptions and subscriptions on the SwipePoint website.

Subscription Methods

  • In-App Subscriptions: Subscribe to SwipePoint Premium through the app store on your mobile device. You can complete the subscription in the iOS App Store or Android Google Play, and the payment is processed by the platform. This method is convenient and fast, but may not be able to issue a triple-copy invoice (because the transaction is completed by the Apple/Google platform, not directly received by SwipePoint).
  • Website Subscriptions: Purchase a subscription plan directly through the SwipePoint official website. You can log in to your account and select a subscription plan on the SwipePoint website. SwipePoint official uses third-party payment for deductions. Website subscriptions can issue triple-copy invoices, which are suitable for corporate users with invoice reimbursement needs. After payment is completed, SwipePoint will provide an electronic invoice for accounting purposes.

Subscription Rules

  • Single Subscription Principle: The same account cannot have two subscription methods at the same time (in-app subscriptions and website subscriptions cannot be duplicated or coexist). This means that you can only subscribe to the Premium service through one channel at any given time to avoid duplicate charges or permission conflicts.
  • Switching Subscription Channels: If you want to switch from an in-app subscription to a website subscription, you must first cancel your current subscription through the App Store/Google Play. Please perform the cancellation operation (disable automatic renewal) on your mobile platform first. Only after canceling the existing in-app subscription can you start a new website subscription.
  • Subscription Connection Rules: When you cancel your in-app subscription but the subscription has not yet expired, you can purchase a SwipePoint website subscription in advance. To avoid a gap period, the website subscription will take effect and be calculated from the expiration date of the original in-app subscription. In other words, when your in-app subscription expires, the website subscription will take effect immediately, ensuring that you do not experience a service interruption.

Special Rules for Website Subscriptions

When using website subscriptions, please pay special attention to the following rules. If you cannot accept them, please do not use website subscriptions.

Website subscriptions cannot be canceled: Once a website subscription takes effect, you cannot cancel the subscription during the subscription period. In other words, the validity period of the website subscription will continue until the end, regardless of whether the service is still in use.

No automatic renewal function: Website subscriptions do not have an automatic renewal function. When the subscription period is about to expire, SwipePoint will notify you in advance through in-app notifications to remind you whether you need to continue your subscription. At that time, you can choose whether to subscribe again.

Important Reminder

Important reminder! You must use the same account to log in for website subscriptions.

Very important! When you choose to make a website subscription, be sure to use the same account to log in as your SwipePoint app. For example:

  • If you use an Apple account to log in to the SwipePoint app, then when you subscribe on the SwipePoint website, you must use the same Apple account to log in to ensure the correct subscription process.
  • If you use other login methods in the SwipePoint app (such as a Google account, etc.), you must also use the same account to log in when subscribing on the website.

If you use a different account to log in, you will not be able to complete the subscription smoothly, and there may be account inconsistencies, resulting in the inability to synchronize the subscription status or enjoy Premium services.

Ads and Premium Plans

  • Ad display: SwipePoint's free users will see in-app advertisements when using it; once you upgrade to a Premium subscription, the ads in the app will be removed, providing a cleaner user experience. In other words, whether you subscribe directly affects ad display: no subscription means no ads, and no subscription means ads.
  • Premium functions: Subscribing to SwipePoint Premium not only removes ads but also unlocks many advanced functions (such as file uploads, etc.). Premium members can enjoy complete attendance management functions, while free users may be limited in some functions. Therefore, upgrading to a Premium plan through subscription can obtain more complete service content.
  • Premium screen information: The Premium plan page in the SwipePoint app will display different information and options depending on the user's subscription status:
    • Unsubscribed: The screen will display an introduction to the Premium plan, including the benefits of no ads, unlocking advanced functions, etc., and provide an "Upgrade to Premium" button for users to choose a subscription plan.
    • Subscribed (in-app subscription): At this time, the Premium screen will display a message that you have subscribed to Premium through the App Store/Google Play, including information about the current subscription status and expiration date. Since the subscription is managed through the app store channel, this screen will not provide a new subscription button and may prompt that if you need to cancel or change your subscription, you need to go to the corresponding App Store/Play Store account settings to operate.
    • Subscribed (website subscription): The screen will indicate that you are a Premium user subscribed through the SwipePoint website and display relevant details of the subscription, such as the subscription start date. Similarly, because you are already a Premium member, this screen will not show the option to subscribe again.
    • Subscription transition status: If you have canceled your in-app subscription in the app store but it is still valid, and you have also purchased a website subscription in advance, the Premium screen will display the expiration date information of the existing subscription and indicate that the new website subscription will take effect after the expiration. This prompt allows you to clearly understand the service connection situation and will not miss the details of renewal or duplicate payment due to switching subscription channels.
