Clock-in Mode

Clock-in Mode is primarily for employee use.


Clock-in Button

Clock-in Mode > Clock-in

Employees can clock in by pressing this button. The steps are as follows:

  1. Click the clock-in button
  2. Choose the clock-in category
  3. Select the shift (regular shift)
  4. Choose the clock-in location
  5. Start Work / End Work

For overtime clock-ins, selecting a shift is not required.

Regular Shift / Overtime

Here, you can choose to clock in for a regular shift or overtime.

Send My GPS Location

Whether the employee's GPS location is sent automatically or can be decided by the employee depends on the clock-in location settings.

If you can't disable it, it means the administrator has set it as mandatory.

Remarks

You can fill in relevant clock-in information here.

Select Shift

Today's shift will be shown according to the shift schedule, allowing you to choose.

Show Cross-Day

Clicking "Show Cross-Day" allows you to view shifts from the previous day, suitable for employees working across different days.

Skip

If "Skip" appears, it means the organization allows employees to clock in without selecting a shift, or the employee has no assigned shifts.

The "Skip" function can be disabled in Admin Mode > Organization > My Organization. Once disabled, employees must select a shift before clocking in.

Select Clock-in Location

Select the location where you will clock in.

Skip

Photo

Click "Click to take a photo," follow the instructions to take a picture, and the photo will be automatically uploaded to the cloud.

To use this feature, the organization creator must first subscribe to the Premium "Storage Space" plan to enable cloud storage for photo uploads.

Start Work / End Work

Click "Start Work" to clock in for starting your shift, or "End Work" to clock out when your shift ends.

After clocking in, you can view your records in My Clock-in Records.

Enable GPS Location

To enable GPS location on your phone, follow the steps below:

iPhone (iOS):

  1. Open Settings: Go to your home screen and tap the "Settings" icon.
  2. Find Privacy: Scroll down and tap "Privacy & Security."
  3. Choose Location Services: Tap "Location Services" and ensure it is activated. If it’s not, enable it.
  4. Select the SwipePoint APP: Scroll down to find the SwipePoint APP, then enter its settings.
  5. Set Location Permissions: Choose either "While Using the App" or "Always" to allow the app to access your GPS.

Android:

  1. Open Settings: Find and tap the "Settings" icon from your home screen or apps list.
  2. Select Location: Scroll down and find "Location" or "Privacy."
  3. Enable Location Services: Ensure that the "Location" function is enabled.
  4. Find App Management: In "Location" settings, find "App Permissions" or "Location Permissions."
  5. Select the SwipePoint APP: Find and tap on the SwipePoint APP.
  6. Set Location Permissions: Choose "While Using the App" or "Always" to allow GPS access.

These steps will ensure that your GPS location is correctly enabled. On some Android devices, you may also adjust accuracy settings to improve GPS precision.

Enable Bluetooth

To enable the Bluetooth function for the SwipePoint APP on your phone, follow these steps:

iPhone (iOS):

  1. Open Settings: Go to your home screen and tap "Settings."
  2. Select Bluetooth: In the settings menu, tap "Bluetooth."
  3. Turn On Bluetooth: Toggle the Bluetooth switch to on (it should show green).
  4. Allow the App to Use Bluetooth: If using iOS 13 or later, when you first use the SwipePoint APP, a prompt will ask you to allow Bluetooth. Choose "Allow." You can manually adjust this in Settings > Privacy > Bluetooth.

Android:

  1. Open Settings: Find and tap "Settings" from the home screen or app list.
  2. Select Bluetooth: Find and tap "Connected Devices" or "Bluetooth."
  3. Enable Bluetooth: Toggle the Bluetooth switch to on.
  4. Allow the App to Use Bluetooth: On most Android devices, you won’t see a specific Bluetooth prompt, but ensure that the SwipePoint APP has the necessary permissions under "App Management."

Once activated, the SwipePoint APP can use your phone’s Bluetooth, and you can pair with Bluetooth devices if required.


Time

Clock-in Mode > Time

The app displays the time synchronized with the cloud server, ensuring that clock-in times are consistent and accurate across all devices. The time zone is based on the organization’s settings.

Date

Clock-in Mode > Time > Date

Displays the current date based on your organization’s time zone settings.

Day of the Week

Clock-in Mode > Time > Day of the Week

Displays the current day of the week.

Current Time

Clock-in Mode > Time > Current Time

Displays the current time based on your organization’s time zone settings.

Cloud Sync

Every time you clock in, the system will automatically sync data with the cloud to ensure security and real-time accuracy.

Time Update Frequency

The time is updated every second to ensure real-time accuracy.

Time Zone Changes

The time zone of an organization cannot be changed after creation. If a time zone change is necessary, a new organization must be created.

Data Protection

All clock-in data is encrypted and securely stored in the cloud to protect employee privacy and data security.


Identity

Clock-in Mode > Identity

Displays the user’s name and job title.

Name

Clock-in Mode > Identity > Name

Displays the current user’s name.

Job Title

Clock-in Mode > Identity > Job Title

Displays the current user’s job title.


Leave Status

Clock-in Mode > Leave Status

Here you can view your annual leave, compensatory leave, sick leave, and personal leave statuses.

Tip: Pull down the screen to refresh the data.

Annual Leave

Clock-in Mode > Leave Status > Annual Leave

Displays your annual leave status and remaining hours. Click for more details.

Compensatory Leave

Clock-in Mode > Leave Status > Compensatory Leave

Displays your compensatory leave status and remaining hours. Click for more details.

Sick Leave

Clock-in Mode > Leave Status > Sick Leave

Displays your sick leave status and remaining hours according to the Labor Standards Act. Click for more details.

According to Taiwan's Labor Standards Act, employees are entitled to a maximum of 30 days of ordinary sick leave per year, equivalent to 240 hours.

Personal Leave

Clock-in Mode > Leave Status > Personal Leave

Displays your personal leave status and remaining hours according to the Labor Standards Act. Click for more details.

According to Taiwan's Labor Standards Act, employees are entitled to a maximum of 14 days of personal leave per year, equivalent to 112 hours.


My Clock-in Records

Clock-in Mode > My Clock-in Records

This page displays the employee’s clock-in records for the past 90 days. Various icons and labels explain different clock-in statuses:

  • Blue Clock Icon: Indicates overtime clock-in.
  • Red "補" (Supplement) Icon: Indicates a supplemental clock-in that has been approved.
  • Red "正" (Manual) Icon: Indicates a clock-in manually added by an administrator.
  • Orange Hourglass Icon: Indicates a supplemental clock-in awaiting administrator approval.

The total working hours for the selected date range are shown at the bottom of the page.

Delete Incorrect Clock-in Records

Clock-in Mode > My Clock-in Records > Select the record > Delete

If you mistakenly logged your start time as the end time, you can use this process to delete and correct the entry.

My Leave Forms / Leave Application

Clock-in Mode > My Leave Forms / Leave Application

This section shows your leave statuses, including annual leave, compensatory leave, sick leave, and personal leave, and allows you to submit leave applications.

Note! Leave applications are not integrated with the shift schedule, so approved leaves won’t appear on the schedule.

Leave Application

Clock-in Mode > My Leave Forms / Leave Application > Leave Application

Click "Leave" at the bottom to submit a leave application.

Attachments

Clock-in Mode > My Leave Forms / Leave Application > Leave Application > Attachments

You can upload attachments by taking a photo, choosing from the gallery, or selecting a document.

To use this feature, the organization creator must first subscribe to the Premium "Storage Space" plan to enable cloud storage for file uploads.


Supplemental Clock-in

Clock-in Mode > Supplemental Clock-in

If you don't see this feature, it means the administrator has disabled it.


My Shift Schedule

Clock-in Mode > My Shift Schedule

Displays the employee’s shift schedule in a calendar format.


My Applications

Clock-in Mode > My Applications

Here, employees can submit applications for overtime, remote work, business trips, and more.

Overtime Application

Clock-in Mode > My Applications > Overtime Application

Employees can apply for overtime here, pending approval by an authorized reviewer.

If you don't see this feature, it means the administrator has disabled it.

Note! Overtime applications are not integrated with the shift schedule, so approved overtime won’t appear on the schedule.

Remote Work Application

Clock-in Mode > My Applications > Remote Work Application

Employees can apply for remote work here, pending approval by an authorized reviewer.

If you don't see this feature, it means the administrator has disabled it.

Note! Remote work applications are not integrated with the shift schedule, so approved remote work won’t appear on the schedule.

Business Trip Application

Clock-in Mode > My Applications > Business Trip Application

Employees can apply for business trips here, pending approval by an authorized reviewer.

My Uploads

Clock-in Mode > My Uploads

Files uploaded by the user.

Upload File

Clock-in Mode > My Uploads > Upload File

You can upload files by taking a photo, choosing from the gallery, or selecting a document.

The file size must not exceed 25 MB. To use this feature, the organization creator must first subscribe to the Premium "Storage Space" plan to enable cloud storage for file uploads.


Announcements

Clock-in Mode > Announcements

Announcements made by the administrator. Employees can click to view, and administrators can track viewing records.


Policies

Clock-in Mode > Policies

Policies published by the administrator. Employees can choose to click "I Agree."


Objectives

Clock-in Mode > Objectives

Goals published by the administrator. Employees can choose to click "I Agree."


Download Documents

Clock-in Mode > Download Documents

Documents uploaded by the administrator, available for employees to download.


National Holidays

Clock-in Mode > National Holidays

Displays national holidays in Taiwan.
