Administrators can navigate to the National Holidays page by selecting Leave from the Admin Mode homepage and then clicking National Holidays. Currently, the holidays synchronized are those officially recognized in Taiwan. As of now, Taiwan's national holidays include the following (holidays typically are not compensated if they fall on weekends, although adjustments sometimes occur):

  • New Year's Day - January 1
  • Chinese New Year's Eve - Last day of the lunar calendar's 12th month
  • Chinese New Year - First three days of the lunar calendar's first month (often extended or adjusted to form longer holidays)
  • Peace Memorial Day - February 28
  • Children's Day - April 4
  • Tomb Sweeping Day (Qingming Festival) - April 4 or 5 (usually creates an extended holiday when coinciding with Children's Day)
  • Labor Day - May 1 (applicable only to laborers)
  • Dragon Boat Festival - 5th day of the 5th lunar month
  • Mid-Autumn Festival - 15th day of the 8th lunar month
  • National Day (Double Tenth Day) - October 10

Additionally, the Taiwanese government sometimes announces adjustments to holidays or makeup workdays at the beginning of each year to facilitate longer breaks.


Add New Holiday

Administrators can navigate to the National Holidays page by selecting Leave from the Admin Mode homepage and then clicking National Holidays. Apart from Taiwan's official holidays, organizations can define custom holidays for all employees or add national holidays from regions outside Taiwan.

  • Company Founding Anniversary - Celebrating the company’s founding to strengthen employee belonging.
  • Year-End Party Day - Granting employees a day off after the annual year-end event.
  • Family Day - Encouraging employees to spend time with their families, promoting work-life balance.

  • Extended Traditional Festival Holiday - Extending traditional holidays like Dragon Boat Festival or Mid-Autumn Festival with an additional day off.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Day - Granting holidays following company-held charity events, encouraging employee participation.
  • Sports Day or Employee Day - Providing an additional day off after annual sports or corporate events.
  • Significant Achievement Reward Day - Celebrating company awards or honors with additional employee holidays.

Administrators can navigate to the National Holidays page by selecting Leave from the Admin Mode homepage and then clicking National Holidays. Administrators can upload files to import national holidays; the file format should reference the exported holiday template in CSV format.
