Leave Allocation
Management Mode > Leave > Leave Allocation
Primarily for managing "Annual Leave" and "Compensatory Leave."
Annual Leave
Annual Leave is a paid leave granted based on labor regulations or company policy, usually calculated according to the employee’s years of service. Employees can schedule annual leave throughout the year to balance work and life. Known in various jurisdictions as "vacation leave," "paid leave," or "tenure leave," unused annual leave is typically settled at year-end, with options for carryover or salary compensation.
Compensatory Leave
Compensatory Leave is leave granted to employees as compensation for overtime or extended work hours under special circumstances. Compensatory leave is generally unpaid but allows employees to take time off later as compensation for previous work. Compensatory leave duration is based on overtime hours or company policy, and most companies require it to be used within a specific timeframe to prevent excessive accumulation.
Add Leave Allocation
Management Mode > Leave > Leave Allocation > Employee > Add Leave Allocation
Add leave allocation entries for a specific employee, including "Annual Leave" or "Compensatory Leave."
Delete Leave Allocation
Management Mode > Leave > Leave Allocation > Employee > Select Leave Allocation > Delete
Delete "Annual Leave" or "Compensatory Leave" entries for a specific employee.
Annual Leave Settlement at Year-End
At the end of the year, any remaining annual leave hours are typically converted into negative hours (e.g., recorded as a note to facilitate salary calculation) and then the new annual leave allocation for the upcoming year is distributed.
