The administrator can navigate to the "Admin Mode" section from the "Home" page, click on "Leave," then select "Leave Policy" to access the "Leave Policy" page. Here, administrators can view default leave types or create customized leave types.
Default Leave Types
The system currently includes default leave types defined by Taiwan's Labor Standards Act and the Gender Equality in Employment Act, such as Annual Leave, Compensatory Leave, Personal Leave, Ordinary Sick Leave, Bereavement Leave, Marriage Leave, Job-Seeking Leave, Family Care Leave, Official Leave, Occupational Injury/Sickness Leave, Unpaid Leave for Medical Treatment, Paternity Leave, Parental Leave, and others.
In the future, administrators will be able to import local government public holiday calendars.
Custom Leave Types

The administrator can navigate to the "Admin Mode" section from the "Home" page, click on "Leave," then select "Leave Policy," to access the "Leave Policy" page. Here, administrators can create or customize special leave types specific to their organization or local government regulations.
Usage Scenarios

Typhoon Leave: When a typhoon warning is issued, or severe weather is expected to impact operational regions, employees can take leave in accordance with company or local government announcements. This ensures employee safety during major weather events.

Indigenous Peoples’ Traditional Festival Leave: According to Article 4 of the Ministry of the Interior’s regulations, indigenous employees are entitled to one day of leave during their respective traditional festivals. Employees holding indigenous status can select one day of leave per year from their own, their parents', or their spouse’s ethnic group's traditional festival periods. Non-indigenous spouses currently are not eligible. Employees must submit documentation proving indigenous status (such as household registration or census records) to the employer.

Birthday Leave: Special leave provided on the employee’s birthday or during their birth month, allowing relaxation or family celebrations.

Family Day Leave: Encourages employees to spend time with their families, typically granted once a year for family activities or gatherings, promoting work-life balance.

Education and Training Leave: Supports employees attending training courses or professional certification exams, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth.

Volunteer Service Leave: Encourages employees to engage in volunteer activities, supporting social responsibility initiatives. Typically, the company provides one or several days of leave for volunteering activities.

Mental and Physical Health Leave: Provides employees with leave for mental health or personal recovery days, helping maintain overall wellness and sustained work productivity.

Long-term Service Leave: Offers additional leave days to employees who have reached certain service milestones, such as five or ten years, enabling extended rest or travel.

Marriage Anniversary Leave: Special leave for married employees on their wedding anniversary, allowing celebrations and quality time with their spouses.

Family Care Leave: Leave provided for employees who need to care for family members (such as elderly parents or young children), easing caregiving responsibilities.

Company Celebration Leave: Granted during company anniversaries or significant annual events, allowing employees to join company celebrations.

Unpaid Leave: Provided upon employee request, such as for overseas travel, extended recovery periods, or significant personal matters.
Leave Reset
Every January 1st, the system automatically resets the leave balance statistics for all users (employees) within their respective organizations and begins recalculating from zero. This feature assists organizations in quickly resetting annual leave records, starting fresh for the new year, saving management significant time and effort in processing and adjusting leave data.
